We have start and end page in list of properties, but not something that could be used to indicate the number of pages in a monograph. We could presumably instruct users to use bibo:pageEnd but that is somewhat counter intuitive to use for the total number of pages. BIBO has numPages for the total number of pages, and pages for "non-contiguous page spans". These are probably too detailed, and don't address non-page resources like sound or video. dct:extent is probably the best property for this since it is very broad and can be used for any type of resource.
dct:extent "1 DVD"
dct:extent "3.5 minutes"
etc.
