Hi, I frequently handle files that are digitally signed (by myself, as part of court filings) and that I later need to include, eg. as attachments to a letter or other filing, as a copy (without signature). Eg.: I sign letter n° 1, sent to recipient n° 1; then I write a letter n° 2 with a copy of letter n° 1, which I want to sign in order to send to recipient n° 2. In Acrobat, when you combine signed files into a PDF, the signature is automatically deleted. I am trying to replicate this with pdfcpu, but no luck so far:
I need to be able to delete the signature field because otherwise I cannot digitally sign the newly created file.
Thank you very much in advance for your help. |

PS: I have found an apparent field name in Acrobat and tried to use it with pdfcpu form remove, but it returns: I'm not sure whether it finds it and can't remove it, or simply doesn't find it. |
