Have you got the option for it to check for updates on startup? This should be turned off. I'm on windows 11 with no problem so don't believe it's a program issue. |

The issue is in the recent file list. If there is a location where you do not have access to (anymore) it does not start. I sometime connect via VPN to a system to open the .db. But once VPN is closed I ran into this issue if I want to open another database. Seems there is no timeout or very long?? Current solution is to clear the recent file list, but that is in the registry. |

I am running DBBrowser from many year. but since last week DBBrowser does not start. Or I do not get the GUI anymore. I see it in the taskmanager running. I did uninstall, reinstall tried the portable version but none of them are working.
I am running it on a Windows 11 system. I had similar issue sometimes that is did no showed the GUI, but by killing the process and restart it worked. But now not anymore.
