Made some changes to docstrings to be consistent across codebase, and to improve rendering in some places on documentations site
We're still seeing this artifact in some places, where

@propertys are used:But I believe this is a bug in the renderer, not anything that can be fixed in the docstring
Also, fixed import/lint issues that were causing sample CI tests to fail
