React
Our most-used frontend technology for building fast, component-driven web interfaces at scale.
What we do
React is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces from small, composable components, and it’s one of Rootstrap’s most frequently used frontend technologies. Its declarative model, virtual DOM, and enormous ecosystem make it a reliable foundation for everything from marketing sites to complex, data-heavy product UIs.
We pair React with TypeScript for type safety and Tailwind CSS as our styling standard, and reach for React Query for server state, with Redux or lighter tools like Zustand for client state as the app demands. For new production applications we often choose Next.js for server-side rendering, static generation, and built-in optimization. Throughout, we lean on component composition, accessibility, and performance practices like memoization and code splitting.
React powers a wide range of our client work. We augmented MasterClass’s React team to modernize payment infrastructure and improve conversion, performance, and UX, and we rebuilt BetterUp’s analytics dashboard to handle far larger enterprise accounts, the kind of frontend that stays fast and maintainable as it scales.
Build it with a senior team.
We'll scope it in an AI Discovery Sprint: clarity before commitment.
